What we need
Initial assessment
For an initial assessment of your qualifications and enrolment chances we will need the following from you:
- Certificates of your educational qualifications (especially the high school certificate, in English or German language)
Entrance qualification
If you haven't passed your university entrance qualification-test yet, you are required to take the University Entrance Examination for international students in Germany (Feststellungsprüfung). The exam can be taken either directly or after successfully attending a one-year access course at the Studienkolleg. Study Europe will enrol you at the Studienkolleg if desired.
Application
Once you've decided to apply at a European institution of higher learning, we'll need the following information and documents in order to process your application:
- Photocopies of all school and other pre-university training certificates
- German language certificate (if applicable)
- 4 current passport photos
- A photocopy of your passport
- Your desired subject and degree
The processing of your application will also incur a submission fee of € 55. If applications to several higher education institutions are desired, an additional € 15 will have to be paid for each further application.
Visa
Once we have received the confirmation that your application has been accepted we will also need the following documents from you to start the visa application process proper:
- high school diploma
- passport (or equivalent documentation)
- bank statement or other proof of you having the necessary means to sustain yourself during your stay in Europe
Enrolment
Upon enrolment the following documents need to be presented:
- the passport with a valid residence permit for studies at the University on the respective course
- Certificates (originals, to be returned)
- Evidence of health insurance (Study Europe will assist you in finding a suitable insurance provider)
- German language certificate from a recognised organisation
